Wall and Trust

I guess the quote describes me well.

I am not the type of person who can easily get friendly with people. I am quite conscious and I take time to trust people.

Past experiences taught me to be more careful when dealing with people especially in matters concerning feelings. That's why I have the walls around me. As long as I am inside the wall, I will be guarded and safe. Only the few privileged ones are allowed to come in.

I guess it is better to be this way than dealing with bruised heart. The more you open up to people, the more you are exposed to being hurt.
